After completing a media degree, Pippa headed up a London camera agency, booking crews and equipment for a variety of film and television shoots. Diary management for 200 busy Cameramen, a fast paced and challenging environment it was a perfect start to her career.
From there Pippa joined a major television company where she is now a Production Manager, recruitment and Facilities manager. Having to provide staff, Cameracrews and equipment for over 300 people at short notice, for overseas trips and unusual assigments.
After obtaining a diploma in Computer Science, she helped design and maintain user-friendly Informix 4gl databases for clients (a currency trader, national liquor store and a shipping company). It was very stimulating work mentally and invaluable background for mastering new IT systems quickly.
Running a busy office with over 300 demanding staff is only the start of Pippa's daily jobs, sourcing anything from specialised lenses to beefeater costumes at short notice has become her forte.
In addition with continually providing excellent service and fulfilling her brief in full, ontime and budget.
Part of the nerve centre of the company, she’s quite simply the ‘go-to’ person when anyone needs something or just needs to make something happen, usually in little time and a seeming to be impossible situation, Pippa is the person to find a solution.
Pippa has recruited many famous faces at the start of their careers, spotting talent in the earliest stages and guiding people throughout their careers.
Having worked there for the past 15 years, Pippa recently took a break from television to become a mother for the first time, realising once again the importance of organisation and help that new mothers require.
Pippa also has a love of travel having travelled extensively and has her finger on the pulse of where is hot and where in not, and with an excellent eye for detail her other interests include wedding planning and luxury shopping.
